Encinitas, CA. April 21, 2012
No better way to spend a weekend off than with a great friend and the beach! My friend, Nikki Kohls, lives in San Diego County in a town called Vista. I have not seen her in over a year, and we could not have asked for a better day today!
After sleeping in, we went to a hot yoga class in Encinitas. Nikki is in the process of training to be a yoga instructor, so I tagged along. It was so great, extremely hard, but extremely fun. I did not think it was even possible to sweat that much! We then walked around Encinitas and enjoyed the beautiful day.
We ended the the day trip to Encinitas by walking from Swami’s Beach to Moonlight Beach. It was absolutely beautiful. We collected seashells, climbed rocks, played in the water, found sand crabs, and so much more. It was such a great walk, and a great way to end the day after a hard yoga work out. I could not have asked for a better day with Nikki! I am living the best life. So blessed and thankful for every moment.

P.S. Big shout out and congratulations to Fresno State Women’s Lacrosse for beating UC Davis, 12-11 in double overtime, and winning their first conference game in school history! Great day to be a bulldog. Go ‘dogs!!
